Structural Steel Drafting Checker/ Detailer

Job Summary

Report directly to Chief Draftsperson.

Tekla is the platform we would be using, knowledge of its workings is
required.

Knowledge of Bluebeam, Word, Excel, is an Asset
Project managing: Maintain accurate and up to date logs of detailing RFI's and changes in project scope. Tracking responses and advising pertinent RSL and Clients of the status of Projects.
Commercial project knowledge would be a great asset. Including being able to read and understand Structural and Architectural Drawing
Modelling and detailing of structural and miscellaneous steel (i.e. architectural and structural drawing).

Including:
Creating part, assembly and erection drawings, electronic files.

Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervisor on top of drafting responsibilities.
Covid 19 protocols being followed.

Normal office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday thru Thursday, Friday 8:00 to 3:00 during which time you must be made available.

Lunch is noon to 12:30pm.

It is expected that you will manage your time outside of those hours in order to complete your Rampart Steel Ltd.

Probationary Period, 3 and 6 month review for performance.
