The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.

The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.


Responsibilities:


  • Provides daytoday performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions); Collaborate with operations team to conduct 3months' probation review and assessment.
  • Set up the annual performance evaluation process for all full time team members
  • Work with subcontractors to create the weekly vendor scorecard to ensure all subcontractors are aligned with our performance and quality standards.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Responsible for recruitment for Business units and collaborating with Labor agents to deliver the proper workforce for the business.
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Ensure corporate compliance with labour regulations and governance standards about recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees, recordkeeping and performance management.
  • Identifies training needs for site and delivered the H&S training for the business units to ensure the company always complies with OHSA.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Prepare HR reports related to but not limited to staffing, and turnover, and provide action items to address gaps and issues.

Skills:


  • Solid knowledge of effective human resources management, including labor relations, employee relations, staffing, health and safety, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills; must be a team player.
  • Selfstarter, highly organized, ability to prioritize, strong attention to detail and goal oriented.
  • Ability to handle situations professionally with sensitivity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Practices continuous learning by keeping abreast of human resources knowledge.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment or providing HR advice in t his work environment is an asset.

Qualities:


  • University degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or postgraduate program in Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum 1 years related experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role.
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English, both orally and in writing.

$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
