Job Description:


The IT Specialist will be responsible for the installation and configuration of systems as well as handling various change requests.

Main priority for this role is the upkeep of the IT infrastructure and computer hardware; providing IT assets management according to internal procedures, service/system operations and regular/ad-hoc maintenance to ensure fulfilment of service availability and security requirements.

Furthermore, the selected applicant will be providing accurate service/system metrics data and reporting on service/system availability, capacity, and security.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of server equipment (router, Wi-Fi, switch, patch panel)
  • Monitor streaming equipment through graphic and logos: video cameras, audio systems, encoders, systems used by Dealers (PC, scanners, desktops), CCTV systems
  • Manage requests received internally in order to ensure the operation in optimal parameters of the company's IT infrastructure (Dealer Modules, Encoders, Routers and Switches)
  • Collaborate with the Audio Visual team to ensure proper functionality of all audiovideo equipments
  • Ensure that all encoders and media servers are technically functional at all live studio tables
  • Collaborate with Head of Operations, Shift Managers in order to resolve errors, by acting immediately for troubleshooting/reparation or replacement of the equipment
  • Keep up to date the workstations evidence: users, configurations, rights allocated on folders etc.) and periodically update/develop the working procedures
  • Respond to incidents in a timely manner and ensure that there are no violations regarding SLA (measurable terms for network services that must be delivered to the service supplier)
  • Maintain inventory of IT purchases and assets create/update inventory records, assign equipment to users, audit inventory and perform decommissioning when required
  • Constant development and improvement of local IT infrastructure
  • Maintain workstations: virus cleaning, find solutions regarding soft/hard problems (components replacement) and install new equipment in system, install and configure software packages and peripheral components
  • Collaborate with ISP supplier in case of internet connection dysfunctionalities to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Keep the confidentiality of the information regarding equipment and the company's procedures

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting user IT devices hardware and software
  • Strong technical knowledge of MS Windows 7/8/10 and Mac OSX
  • Solid experience in PC and MAC hardware/software installations and issue resolutions
  • Demonstrated experience with Wi-Fi networks and Linux usage/admin
  • Solid working experience in installing and integrating new hardware as well as Active Directory management
  • Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
