Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., has an immediate opening for a Fleet Manager at their Regina, SK location.

This position is Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee scheduling and timely pickup and delivery of customer orders in Regina and area
  • Ensure that there is an accurate and efficient crossdock of customer freight, both inbound and outbound
  • Ensure compliance with service delivery standards
  • Train and manage operational staff
  • Manage productivity in conjunction with cost control
  • Oversee the execution of preventative fleet maintenance and regulatory compliance
  • Enforce operational policies and procedures, ensuring that safe work methods and SOPs are followed

Qualifications:


  • Proven planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent people skills, demonstrated by solid written and oral communication
  • Problem solving skills, supported by sound systematic judgment
  • Customer service skills
  • Dispatch experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of city and highway routes
  • Knowledge of freight handling
  • City dispatch skills (preferred)
  • Class 1A License (preferred)
