Project Designer - Southwestern Ontario - UW EntSoc

Description

As part of the Design team, you will have the opportunity to elevate the branding and creative direction within EntSoc. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to bring ideas to life and develop ideas that will impact the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

As a Project Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Create beautiful interfaces and delightful experiences
• Design the end-to-end experience
• Work with the technical team to bring your projects to life
• Conduct user research and user testing

We are looking for Project Designers who can show us that they have:

• 2+ years of direct work or volunteer experience as a graphic and/or visual designer

• Intermediate knowledge in the use of Adobe Creative Suite.

• Knowledgeable in the latest design trends, methods, and techniques.

• Strong knowledge of online optimization best practices

• Strong knowledge of printing/publishing procedures and standards

• A great communicator and story-teller

• Comfortable with iterative design with detailed discussion

• Takes initiative and values open communication
