IPS Therapeutique Inc. (IPST) is a private preclinical Contract Research Organization. It offers drug-development services involving a wide range of in vivo models useful in predicting drug efficacy in cardiac, vascular, respiratory and inflammatory diseases. All experimental work is performed at its Sherbrooke, AAALAC-approved facility.

Job description:
Administrative Assistant

  • Purchasing process (new equipment and regular inventory)
  • Placing orders/follow up on logistics
  • Preparing monthly invoices for contract work
  • Treatment of the account's payable invoices
  • Assembling documents to be sent out to clients and authorities
  • Formatting and proofreading reports, both scientific and financial
  • Proof reading client communications
  • Shipping in and out of the country, arrange for delivery to IPST, etc.

Job requirements:


  • Experience in purchasing and logistics (23 years)
  • Tremendous sense of organization
  • Immaculatewritten and spoken English; French is an asset.
  • Autonomy, motivation and creativity are necessary
  • Negotiating skills
  • Computer basics: MS Windows MS Office, SAGE
  • Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and documents is an asset
