As a member of the Product Implementation team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory and Compliance consultant to join our team.
As a Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
This role requires bilingual proficiency in English and French.Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a structured approach to capturing compliance requirements and translating them into IT requirements.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify areas of potential compliance risk.
- Investigate and respond to compliancerelated inquiries and complaints. Interact with the SME group as well as industry leaders, partners and vendors and articulate requirements.
- Analyze compliance solution options and recommend the preferred option.
- Work with other departments to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure that compliancerelated documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
- Validate that the IT solution/Product meets identified compliance needs.
- Manage a team of analysts who research and enable dissemination of knowledge with the WGS compliance team.
- Work closely with the sales staff to understand industry compliance gaps in the product.
- Work with the Domain Consultants/Practice Heads to develop solutions/frameworks for industry painpoints and developing trends.

- MBA with specialization in Risk Management desired
