We need a diligent and determined
Equipment & Field Coordinator with a genuine desire to enrich the agriculture industry, to lead our fieldwork team, run our safety program, and keep our vehicles and equipment in tip top shape

As the Equipment & Field Coordinator, you will coordinate and lead the activities of our summer research team in the field, lead the development and maintenance of safety protocols and orientations, prepare supplies and equipment for the field, and maintain vehicles and farm equipment in good working order.

You will also have the opportunity to provide input on the development of agriculture research projects, and will gain practical experience in many aspects of the applied research process.

And you will get to attend schools and field days put on by PCBFA for local farmers and agronomists, and listen to some great speakers

Must have a valid driver's license.
Experience and comfort with operating and maintaining equipment such as tractors, ATVs, and zero-turn mowers is essential. Experience hauling such equipment with pick-up truck and trailer would be a significant asset. Experience with agriculture and/or research would also be considered an asset but is not necessary.
