Job Objectives

  • Manage deliverables and basic information on SharePoint
  • Maintain revision control, progress, and transmit documents to SharePoint
  • Update the internal document database
  • Manage various document control logs/templates and provide weekly status updates
  • Responsible for other administrative tasks
Main Responsibilities

  • Manage daily tasks for project documentation control administration
  • Organize digital new, current and archive documents (work procedure, site policy, training materials, reports, drawings, etc.) in SharePoint and other document management systems
  • Coordinate internal communication and document distribution control
  • Process internal document control requests, retrieve corresponding documents from databases
  • Ensure team members adhere to document control standards
  • May oversee small projects and assist team with project related issues
Core Competencies

  • Experience of document control in an engineering environment
  • Ability to use document management software such as SharePoint, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills and managing large volumes of data (understanding basic Excel formulas, using pivot tables, general search function, filtering and sorting data, creating charts and tables)
  • Meticulous attention to detail; and
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
Interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to communicate with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds
  • Must have a positive attitude, capable of consistently producing accurate results and meeting deadlines
  • Proven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in completing tasks
Educational Qualifications

  • A two to threeyear college program in archival studies, information science, library science or a combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
