Our Technology Consulting Data & Analytics practice works collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to use and interpret data and develop their own enhanced information management capabilities to support better decision making, along with regulatory compliance within their business.

Our clients need the vision to articulate the big picture and the precision to see the smallest of details.


We are seeking a passionate Manager, Data/Technical Architecture to join us on an exciting journey of leveraging data as an asset solving many of our clients' biggest challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities


As a Manager, Data/Technical Architecture, you will specialise in offering leadership, insight and advice to clients and help lead the design and architecting of large-scale data analytics solution implementations.


Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the data architecture and solution design for large, complex, front to back data analytics implementation
  • Provide oversight of data related requirement gathering, solution design and build, including supporting the definition and execution of key design decisions
  • Leading the translation of clients' technical and accounting requirements back to the underlying data architecture
  • Leading the growth of the practice via the sharing of knowledge and experience through formal and informal training, as well as demonstrating depth of specialism by developing solutions, tools and enablers to accelerate delivery.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Effectively partner with Clients to understand and anticipate their needs and guide them towards building data analytics solutions delivering both shortterm wins and identifying longterm opportunities
  • Ensure all solutions comply with the highest levels of security, privacy and data governance requirements as outlined by EY and Client legal and information security guidelines, law enforcement, and privacy legislation
  • The ability to provide excellent client service and manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert and a Thought Leader, continuously following industry trends, the latest competitive developments of emerging technologies and offerings

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, informatics, operations research, engineering or a related field and approximately 5+ year's experience
  • Significant handson consulting experience at a Big 4, major systems integrator or top tier consulting firm within data analytics services, or a similar transformation change role
  • Solid experience on transformational programs that involve complex architecture systems
  • Broad knowledge across a range of architecture concerns with a specialisation in data architecture, including data pipelines and master data management, data management, data engineering, data warehousing/ data mart, and data modeling
  • Exposure and experience to solution delivery using prevailing Data Cloud/Hybrid architectures (tools such as Snowflake, Azure, SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience in leading and advising clients for full cycle implementations, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support models
  • Awareness of emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Track record of creating of a largescale data platform in dataintensive environments and determining thirdparty technologies to integrate into the technology stack
  • Interest in Data Analytics along with experience in programming is a highly desired. You will need to demonstrate strong technical problemsolving abilities as well as clear proficiency in handling computer hardware, software, and network
  • A high level of motivation, strong work ethic and selfstarting attitude.
