**Position:** Barista Part-Time)

**Location:** Mitfar Boutique Cafe

**Job Description:**

Mitfar Boutique Cafe is looking for Baristas for Part-Time roles who have a strong knowledge of single-origin coffee. As a Barista, you'll excel in serving exceptional coffee and beverages, in-house baked pastries, Salads, toasts and sandwiches with a special focus on highlighting the unique qualities of single-origin coffees, high quality beverages, pastries and food. Your role will also involve maintaining our cafe's high standards.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks, showcasing single-origin coffee flavors.

2. Provide friendly and efficient customer service.

3. Accurately handle orders and transactions through the POS system.

4. Keep the workspace and equipment clean and organized.

5. Ensure fresh stock of single-origin coffee beans and ingredients.

6. Offer detailed information about our single-origin coffee selections and make personalized recommendations.

7. Handle cash transactions with accuracy.

8. Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

9. Collaborate with team members for efficient operations.

10. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

11. Making and serving toasts and salads, baking pastries and any other duties as needed.

**Qualifications:**

1. Barista or customer service experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of single-origin coffee.

2. Proficiency in coffee preparation techniques and equipment.

3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

5. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

6. Flexibility to work weekends, after hours events and holidays.

7. Food handler's certification is a must.

8. Proficient in creating basic latte art patterns, including heart and tulip designs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$21.60 per hour
