Preferred Education and Certifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum requirement from an accredited institution_
  • Postsecondary education and previous experience is an asset_

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support students in instruction as well as social and behavioral needs
  • Encourage positive interactions between students and staff
  • Work closely and collaboratively with school staff including, but not limited to, classroom teachers and administration
  • Position may include activities such as lifting, transferring and providing personal care, as necessary

Skills and Competencies:


  • Strong communication skills; written, verbal and reading comprehension
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills

Successful applicants will be required to submit before start date:

  • Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
