    Description

    TEEMA Solutions is seeking Licensed Marital and Family Therapist LMFT for open-ended assignment working for a corrections organization in their telehealth offices in Ontario, California. No corrections experience is required. Must have one year of LMFT experience and a desire to serve the underserved. Must be comfortable seeing patients relating to substance abuse and addiction in both an inperson and telehealth capacity.

    Weekly pay and Health Benefits available
    Pay rate is $63/hr

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments, and provides clinical treatment interventions such as brief counseling, group therapy, and individual counseling.
    • Consults and collaborates with other disciplines for the care and treatment of patients and participates in interdisciplinary care planning and coordination.
    • Performs assessments that assist with and facilitates transitional care planning and coordination that links patients with community resources and services as they release from system.
    • Conducts assessments to determine appropriate level of intervention, education, and counseling services within the context of marriage, couples and family systems as well as individual biopsychosocial dimensions with specific solution-focused, attainable therapeutic goals.
    • Conducts Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD), either in 1:1 and/or group settings to modify intrapersonal and interpersonal behaviors.
    • Conducts assessments for patients preparing for release.
    • Provides education and counseling services to individuals that encourage the development of life skills and strategies for coping and confronting issues related to SUD.
    • Develops and/or contributes to treatment and care plans.
    • Reviews patient files, gathers data, and completes reports and other required documentation.
    • Makes recommendations to the care teams, effectively communicates, and collaborates with the patient and all disciplines involved in the care of the patients.
    • Documents and evaluates patients' progress with programming and facilitates discharges and transfers in coordination with other treatment and rehabilitative programs.
    • Works with institutional rehabilitative partners and custody staff to assess patient's participation and progress in services.
    • Attends all case conferences, trainings, meetings and committees as directed, and performs other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    • LMFT license in CA.
    • Completion of a Masters Degree
