THE OPPORTUNITY


Our client is looking for an aspiring Project Coordinator who is ready to embark on a professional odyssey within the realm of Civil Construction.

Our client wants to be the go-to contractor, so your role as a Project Coordinator will be key to maintaining a culture centered on honesty, creativity, and positive community.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Project Coordinator you will:

  • Be that key support for the Project Manager in handling the process and administration for documents, reporting and paperwork including:
- subcontracts,
- reports,

  • HSE stats,
  • LEM's,
- time sheets,
- equipment tracking,
- meeting minutes,
- shop drawings,
- monthly equipment hours.
- purchase orders,
- cost coding,
- tracking,
- invoice creation,
- change management paperwork.

  • Track and report production rates on a daily basis, and assisting in resource planning and scheduling for both crew and equipment.
  • Support the creation of subcontract agreements and managing subcontractor requirements.
  • Contribute to the implementation of PBN's HSE and QA/QC programs.
  • Procure supplies and materials through tasks like sending out quotes, analyzing quotes, and monitoring delivery dates.
  • Ensure project folders and documents are organized and wellmaintained.
  • Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings to aid in planning and execution.
  • Collaborate on construction schedules, updates, and forecasting using MS Project.
  • Conduct periodic site safety inspections and necessary site visits.
  • Review the schedule of values (cost control) and assisting with updates and forecasting.
  • Organize crew travel requirements, including booking hotel rooms, and scheduling mobilization/demobilization.
  • Be flexible and ready to step into new areas when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the Project Coordinator, you will bring:

  • A strong and skill capability in business administration
  • Previous experience in a project coordination role, either within or not the civil construction industry is useful.
  • A willingness to learn, or a good knowledge and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and proactive multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with a knowledge of project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel distances and work onsite where necessary.
