Job Summary:


The staff member is responsible for the assisting with delivery of care and service to patients, coordination, and maintaining a positive environment for doctors, staff and clients.

Therefore problem solving, attention to detail and effective communication (written and verbal) is critical to success in this role. Reporting to the Clinic Manager, you must have specific knowledge of medical terminology and clinic procedures.


Responsibilities:

Assist the Clinic Manager in running the daily operations for the clinic, including front end and back end support.
Create, adhere to and enforce procedures for dealing with patients and providing fast friendly client service.

Manage the client experience from start to end, including booking patient appointments, updating records, coordinating follow-up appointments and assisting with arranging referral appointments.

Ensure all actions support business growth.
Resolve conflicts and client concerns, maintaining the strictest confidentiality
Help maintain and safe and positive office environment.
Respond to Doctor's requests, and escalate issues as needed.
Triage patients, take vitals on patients of all ages, and administer injections upon physicians' orders.
Complete other tasks as requested.


Qualifications Required:
Experience in clinical or medical setting.
Post Secondary education (administration, healthcare or related fields preferred).
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent attitude towards providing friendly and efficient customer service.
Must be certified in giving IM, SC, SD injections.
Exceptional computer skills and ability to maintain computerized record management systems to store and process data.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize demands on time.
The ability to provide a positive workplace climate for employees and clients.
Innovative, mindful member of the team, who can initiate and implement ideas regarding how to improve customer experiences.
Adaptable with great problem-solving skills.
Ability to speak multiple languages is an asset (e.g. French, Punjabi, Hindi, Spanish)
Experience using an electronic medical records system an asset (preferably CHR by Telus).


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 4 years (preferred)
  • Clinical: 2 years (preferred)
