OVERVIEW
McCain is embarking on a digital transformation.

As part of this transformation, we are making significant investments into our data systems, structures and policies, and building digital products for our customers, key suppliers and McCain team members to enable digital processes and data-driven automation over time.

Our Technology team's goal is to inspire growth through innovative technology experiences. Our digital teams are key to deliver this ambition.

McCain has established digital teams in Agriculture and Commercial and we are now looking forward to expanding our investments in Manufacturing embedded in our MDIxAI program.


PURPOSE

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for digital transformation in manufacturing, bringing a -blend of technical savvy, strategic thinking, and a user-centric approach to drive significant improvements in the manufacturing landscape.

Please note - This is a 12 months contract opportunity

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


Strategic Oversight and Implementation:


  • Own the endtoend strategy, design, development, deployment, and scaling of digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Gather inputs from key stakeholders such as program governance, MDI teams, and technical experts in technology, engineering, and data.
  • Translate key learnings from each project phase into actionable strategies, collaborating with other Product Owners for best practice dissemination as solutions scale across plants.

User-Centric Solution Development:


  • Develop tools and solutions that address user pain points, emphasizing ease of use to drive adoption and engagement.

Efficient Solution Delivery:


  • Balance content and timing to ensure efficient and timely delivery of highquality solutions.
  • Oversee solution deployments, ensuring they align with original plans and operational improvement targets (OEE & Recovery).

Communication and Problem-Solving:


  • Proactively communicate progress and challenges to the program manager, maintaining a solutionoriented mindset
  • Establish and maintain a user feedback process, integrating insights into product plans.

Ideal Experience and Skills:


  • 57 years of experience in a dedicated domain such as Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Production, or broader Manufacturing functions. Experience in Product Management & Development in Manufacturing / Production domain is essential, with a track record of taking on progressively challenging roles.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive value through technology and data.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and navigating ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in leveraging innovative technology within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across different levels and functions, both internally and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse audiences including plant management and operators.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to adhere to timelines.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree or Applied Certificate in Business Management, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
