This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the seamless management of patient care programs and enhancing the quality of life for patients. You will establish strong relationships with healthcare providers and support patients in navigating their treatment options. Accountabilities- Customize program elements to meet the needs of assigned prescribing physicians.
- Review patient status and assist physicians with patient enrolment, completing payer forms, and documenting previous therapies.
- Identify obstacles to obtaining coverage and communicate these to the Program Manager.
- Develop strong working relationships with physicians and their office staff to maintain smooth patient care.
- Provide ongoing training and support to physicians on new program initiatives.
- Complete all relevant reports in accordance with specified timelines and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industries.
- Case management experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and access to reliable transportation for regional travel.
- Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with reimbursement navigation.
- Fluency in French and/or English may be required.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care.
