What You'll Be Doing:


  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, maintaining conveyor belts, and inspecting fire safety systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facilityrelated issues, such as leaks, HVAC, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts on computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Monitor and maintain the safety of common areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of safety systems, such as fire alarms and emergency lighting, and coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment or systems as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in facility maintenance techniques

What We Are Looking For:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a facilities and maintenance technician or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques for facilityrelated issues.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
    What You Can Expect
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb(~23kg)
  • Travel to the site, and offsite locations will be required
  • Safety equipment will be required when working in the production floor, e.g. steeltoed safety boots, smock/coat, gloves, etc.
  • Working afterhours as required
  • Hazards associated with the trade
  • Work both indoors and outdoors
  • Will be exposed to construction sites during any renovation and working in temperature controlled environments
