Description

The individual reports to the IT Manager and is responsible for optimizing IT infrastructure and data management across North America.

The individual works in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment supporting Operations, Finance and Software development teams.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary point of contact for IT requirements within our North American operations.

Implement strategies to reduce data consumption expenditures.

Work with network service providers to support and streamline business IT needs across North America offices.

Design and implement workflows including help desk support for local and remote locations.

Design desktop protocols and processes for activating/deactivating employees, including security, software, accessibility.

Monitoring and preventative maintenance of the network and domain stability.

Maintaining and optimizing all communication and data management on multiple platforms across north America.

Design, procure and implement of all hardware and software to support business strategies.


STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and plan desktop, server, hardware and software configurations to support business objectives.

Research and design cloud-based data management infrastructure to support proprietary software.


Collaborate with the senior leadership team to gain a thorough understanding of the holistic ERP vision and recommend execution strategies.


Work with software partners and internal operations teams to solidify and stabilize integrations of ERP cloud software to support operational efficiencies.

Source new innovative hardware to support remote field operations.

Direct technological research and implement IT solutions which are aligned with organizational goals, strategies and user projects.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • 13 years of experience working in IT environment.
  • Experience and in depth understanding of MS Azure and network data set up and administration is a must.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on the latest IT infrastructure and operations bestpractices.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, storage systems, phone systems.
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and IT infrastructure across various technologies.

Desirable Certifications:

MCSA

CCNA
Comptia network+


Salary:
$18.36-$42.27 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
