Administration and Communication Clerk
We are seeking a self-starting, mature and experienced individual to join us as an Administration and Communication Clerk.

This position requires superior attention to detail, and impeccable telephone etiquette.

You pride yourself on being a reliable, dependable team-player with an excellent attendance record and a strong work ethic.

You are enthusiastic and able to accept changes to your areas of responsibility as required. This is a new position that will rapidly evolve.


Qualifications, Core Competencies and Responsibilities:

• Medical Secretary or Medical Office Assistant certificate/diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a family medicine setting is mandatory
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Effective listening skills
• Articulate with exceptional communication skills (verbal & written)
• Strong time management skills
• Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a very busy, fastpaced environment
• Strong computer skills, including experience with PS Suites EMR
• Answer patient calls, accurately schedule, change or cancel appointments
• Contact and communicate with patients in a polite, professional, timely and accurate manner
• Receive, prioritize, and process physician orders
• Accurately create, update, and maintain patient records within the EMR
• Ability to maintain confidentially for all information pertaining to patients and the work environment

This is a full-time position hours per week)

Hours will be scheduled Monday through Saturday, between 8am and 8 pm.


Starting Wage:
$19.00 per hour
