As an Analyst, Tax [Global Mobility Services] your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional service to clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
Participating in tax compliance, planning, and strategy development through analysis of client tax issues and relevant tax law pertaining to estate planning, crossborder consulting, resident and nonresident tax compliance
Assisting with proactive resolution of taxrelated issues through direct communication and collaboration with clients and colleagues, and researching and drafting responses
Analyzing, reviewing and preparing various types of tax returns and tax forms
Communicating with the Canada Revenue Agency on behalf of clients
Participating in yearend tax planning activities
Participating in policy and expatriate compensation design and implementation
Contributing to the building of our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice
Other duties as required

Completed postsecondary degree/diploma
CPA (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA; or CPA, CGA) accreditation, or in pursuit of, considered an asset
Experienced in tax return preparation with interest in further developing knowledge and skills in the areas of Canadian and US personal income tax, social security and international tax treaties
Strong focus on exceptional client service and relationships
Strong planning and time management skills, with ability to balance competing demands
Proven problem solver with solid research and analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully work independently and as part of a team
Working knowledge of MS Office suite
Ability to quickly grasp new technology tools (i.e. CaseWare, TaxPrep)
