Do you you have a background in aquatics or first aid_ - whether it be lifeguarding, teaching swimming lessons, have your EMR or your PCP and want to teach others how to save lives? Do you already have your first aid instructor certification and would like to put it to use? We're looking for a weekend first aid instructor to teach basic-level courses in Victoria and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities:
- Teach fun & engaging 12 day first aid & CPR courses to groups
- Provide demos and handson practice for participants
- Evaluate participants' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Clean/sanitize course equipment & reset classrooms
- Complete and submit course paperwork
- Stay uptodate with current first aid guidelines and techniques
Requirements:
- Experience teaching first aid or water safety (need not be current)
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and strategies
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
$22.55-$25.00 per hour
