    Job Description

    To provide administrative support for the Pharmaceutical Services Department and the Branches for all Bayshore contracted pharmaceutical products and services.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To accept all incoming referrals for pharmaceutical programs and check them for completeness and accuracy of information
  • Toenterinformation from the referral into CRM and forward to theappropriate branchassigned intake coordinator
  • To follow-up with the branch to ensure that the nursing visit is scheduled within the agreed upon time limit
  • Toprovideinformation back to pharmaceutical referral contactregardingdate of scheduled visit
  • To receive post-visit reports and time-slips from field nurses andforwardthem on to pharmaceutical referral contact, theappropriate branchand others as requested
  • To track specific data and information for pharmaceutical companies as requested
  • Toprovideother ongoing administrative help and support to all staff in the Pharmaceutical Services Department as needed
  • Participatein ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participatein quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
  • Participatesin proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintainsconfidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only withappropriate Bayshorepersonnel
  • Complete other tasks as requested
  • Employee willmaintainrelevant level of knowledge of ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and Health Canada GVP (GoodPharmocovigilancePractices) guidelinesappropriate totheir hired role which is to be provided at time of hire and annually. With this knowledge the employee will perform the work
  • Job Qualification

    Education
    Community college/Post-Secondary Education

    Experience

    At least two years of recent experience in customer service health care related role. Medical Terminology an asset.

    Other Skills and Abilities

    Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to meet deadlines; demonstrated track record of achievement in dealing with suppliers and staff; in depth knowledge of multi-branch operations; strong commitment to continual learning. Minimum 30 . typing speed required.
