Description

Primary objectives of the role

Communications

  • Develop articles and press releases for our website, social media and thirdparty websites for SEO, in collaboration with the SEO Specialist to improve organic and local search rankings and build online authority
  • Draft, edit, proofread and schedule all internal and external communications and documentations (SOP, Training Documents, ESG Report, Brand Guidelines etc.) by working with all departments for priorities and timing
  • Develop a communication rollout to promote CSN's annual conference, tradeshows, industry events and charity fundraisers
  • Generate new ideas and contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing and communications programs and processes

Marketing

  • Collaborate with the manager to plan, develop, and execute a wide variety of advertising campaigns aimed at diverse audiences (collision repairers, consumers, insurers, vendors and OEMs), with an emphasis on the messaging
  • Create written and designed content in French and in English, in collaboration with our Graphic Designer, for a variety of communications channels to promote CSN Collision Centres, including Website, Billboards, TV, Radio, Brochures, Signage, Magazines
  • Maintain positive relationships with industry publications, prepare press releases and coordinate all interview and article requests to position CSN Collision Centres as thought leaders in the collision repair industry and support store recruitment
  • Identify and manage external marketing vendors in a manner that achieves CSN's objectives, within budget and utilizing resources optimally
  • Assist shops with their digital signage, online reviews, local events and any other marketing requests

Education and qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 46 years' experience in a Communications or Marketingrelated position
  • Clear oral and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Excellent copywriting skills on print and digital supports
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in collision repair or automotive industry is an asset

Work environment and other requirements

  • Our Marketing Team, which includes your direct manager, is based out of our corporate office in Oakville, Ontario
  • Proof of vaccination for COVID19 required

Travel requirements

  • Limited travel is required but will include travelling to annual conference and infrequent shop visits less than 5%
