- Must be located close to Morinville Area and have Class 5 License and reliable vehicle. We are looking to for someone to provide home care service to a client for 6 hours during daytime hours five days a week no weekends.**Duties Include but not limited too:
- Helping clients to stay independent in their homes by monitoring and recording the client's condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.
- Lift and transfer patients safely and with proper technique
- Administer first aid and emergency care when necessary
- Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.
- Supports clients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errand
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed professionals
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their wellbeing
- Assists clients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Advises on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is required.
- Experience with lift and transfer healthcare procedures, is required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
