What will you do?
As a High School Math/Science Tutor at Oxford Learning, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing materials and other requirements for student sessions,
  • Building relationships with parents and the community (schools, sports teams, and local businesses),
  • Creating a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis,
  • Managing and motivating students throughout their learning,
  • Communicating specific student needs to parents and centre staff,
  • Promoting and participating in all aspects of the Oxford Learning business.

  • Experience in either teaching or tutoring high levels of math,
  • Bachelor's Degree or fourthyear university students with extensive tutoring experience
  • Must have extensive knowledge of the current Grade 912 math and science curriculum including but not limited to advanced functions, calculus, physics, chemistry, and biology,
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 912 math curriculum, particularly senior maths including Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus, and Vectors.
