The Clerk B contributes to the effective operation of the Trauma unit by acting as the central communication person for the unit.
The Clerk B performs reception, clerical and administrative duties following hospital policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of maturity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade XII plus one year related experience, or graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/office/business program
- Knowledge of computers is required
- Previous Critical Care experience an asset
- Medical terminology is an asset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates problemsolving and decision making skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Long Assignment, Part-Time (50%) position, 35 Hours Biweekly
- Beginning in March, for approximately 1 year
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $21.91 Hourly
