Overall Accountability

The Specialist, Human Capital Management System (HCMS) is accountable for testing, auditing and assisting organizational users with their day-to-day system usage.

The Specialist is responsible for providing End Users with support and service in the operations of the HCMS and maintaining system functionality.

Specific Accountabilities

Tests and sustains HCM system business processes within PeopleSoft for continuous delivery
Provides production support on scheduled HCM system activities including but not limited to the daytoday support to the business and the testing for implementations
Analyzes and audit Absence Management events to ensure best practice and adjustments
Supports clients with People Services Self-Service and the Employee Service portal, including support for inquiries and issue resolution
Conducts regular system and data audits across all modules of the various HCM system
Performs agreed upon testing scenarios for the implementation of new services and functionality or the modification to existing services/functionality
Performs routine testing for system updates, maintenance and development
Provides additional support to Employment Data with system based documentation when needed
Works in a team environment and ensures team based deadlines impacting employee data within the HCM system are covered

Qualifications:

Certificate/Diploma in Human Resources or Information Technology
Three (3) to five (5) years' experience working within Human Resources
Hands on exposure with employee data
Experience with testing and auditing within in an HCM system is preferred
Experience working in an educational setting and a multiunion environment is preferred
