Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


Position Overview:


  • Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Lead, the Quality Assurance Specialist provides quality review and analysis of case and contact investigations for the province's immunization campaign
  • Leads ongoing reviews of quality assurance processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Identifies where gaps in care are occurring
  • Determines root causes and propose solutions
  • Evaluates effectiveness of imposed changes on an ongoing basis
  • Runs reports and audits
  • Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  • Updates, implements, and maintains procedures
  • Addresses process issues/barriers on an ongoing basis
  • Develops, implements, and maintains streamlined processes

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration
  • A combination of experience and advanced education may be considered
  • Experience in PHIMS preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and reliable
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to prioritize efficiently
  • Ability to work virtually/remotely
