Door FiftyFive is Port Credit's premier cocktail and whiskey bar. We are preparing for busy season with a new emphasis on our smokehouse and comfort food. All applicants will be considered as there are multiple positions to fill. Some prep work will be included in the position, as well as cooking on line.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in kitchens in the service industry
- Experience in food preparation
- Similar fastpaced environment and atmosphere
- Demonstrated skills in restaurant kitchen operations
- Experience with BBQ and Southern comfort food is an asset
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Deliver uncompromising high standards of service to meet/exceed expectations of all parties
- Prepare each recipe to Door FiftyFive's specs and procedures in a timely manner
- Ability to coordinate cooking times appropriately; develop and maintain necessary level of speed
- Ensure food quality and safe food handling at all times
- Maintain good personal hygiene practices at all times; general cleanliness and sanitation
- Monitor and minimize waste through careful planning and execution
- Team player; demonstrate sense of urgency and ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Company and Legislative compliance
- All other duties as outlined
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
Salary:
From $18.50 per hour

Experience:
- cooking: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
