    Responsibilities

    Functional Leadership


    •Leads the functional department, manages and directs work directly or through managers, supervisors, or professionals leading others.


    •Makes decisions as to the selection, training, discipline, and remuneration of staff. Assigns program work that involves several projects and sets policy framework for project work.

    •Completes contract assignments for all phases of contractual undertakings.


    •Develops annual goals, action plans and performance metrics for function.


    •Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to the discipline.Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes, and tools.


    •Ability to recognize and resolve conflict


    •Ability to visualize and design new concepts and ideas related to functional area of expertise; Broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and lead organizational change effectively; Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals.


    •Ability to effectively communicate and present complex program proposals and reports to executive level management is critical.


    •Ability to persuade and influence others is critical. Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.


    •Proven leadership skills in multi-cultural and multi-national environments.

    Project Delivery


    •Lead the development of Contracting Strategies and Plans for large/mega Projects.


    •Manages all contract activity for customer potentially on multiple Projects.Travel to the customer office or to the project site may be required, either before the contract receives final approval or during the life of the contract.


    •Ensures accuracy and timeliness of contract administration.Coordinates with affected groups to ensure proper support in contract administration, proposal preparation, and in negotiations.


    •Reviews requests for proposals particularly to identify risks and terms which may not conform to Company policy.


    •Complete prime contract flow downs as required by Projects.


    •Negotiates the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with customer management.


    •Formulating and issuing construction contracts of all sizes and work scopes work scopes.


    •Full contract life cycle, pre-qualifying and preparing lists of bidders, receiving, evaluating bid, preparing contacts and bid documents.


    •Interviewing contractors and potential contractors and making appropriate recommendations.


    •Preparing commercial summaries and letters of recommendation, posting awards, administering contracts (correspondence, progress minutes, filing, change management, and performance measurement), monitoring contractors' performance and conformance to commercial terms, and approving progress invoices.


    •Communicating with customer to secure approvals in accordance with established procedures.Interacting with engineering and construction departments to comply with terms, revisions, and amendments.


    •Participating in contract termination, claims or dispute settlements according to delegated authority, conducting close out review and processing back changes.

    Experience and Qualifications


    •B.A./B.Sc. degree in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent or relevant experience.


    •Extensive leadership, project management, and technical experience.


    •Experience working with large EPC/EPCM Projects and managing large contractual agreements.
