- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Sustainability: Champion environmentally conscious design practices, incorporating energy efficiency and sustainable materials into projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liase with clients, consultants, and municipal authorities to present designs, secure approvals, and address concerns.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee architectural standards and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and industry regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Licensed Architect with membership in a professional architectural association required
- 10+ years in architectural design
- 5+ years of experience in leadership
- Proven expertise in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of sustainable design practices, Ontario Building Code, and zoning requirements
- Skilled in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in architectural software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with construction methodologies
