Description
Purpose:
Reporting to the Manager, Graduate Communications & Recruitment for the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, the Social Media & Engagement Assistant will support the development and execution of social media campaigns.
The Social Media & Engagement Assistant will support the planning of social initiatives and marketing events as well as prepare a variety of communication materials.
Education:
Must be a current York student.
3rd-4th year undergraduate student enrolled in Communication & Social Studies, Cinema & Media Studies, Design, Digital Media, Film Production, Visual Art preferred.
Experience:
Previous communications experience required including experience with content generation on social & digital media platforms. Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social is an asset. Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
