General Role Description:


As the Training Manager, you are responsible for the overall strategy, development, and implementation of training programs that cover functional, technical, project management and implementation methodology topics for Tecsys.

These training programs will serve both internal and external partners and clients.


Leading a small team of training analyst (2-3) you will collaborate closely with each department training champion to develop and enhance training curriculums, prioritize the content creation and implement an efficient maintenance process to consider future product changes.


In addition, you will be responsible for defining and implementing an efficient and profitable process to share trainings with external audiences such as partners and clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Partner with internal Leadership teams to identify training needs for all departments
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of curriculums for: project managers, functional consultants, technical consultants, R&D team members, customer super users.
  • Develop learning solutions in close consultation with R&D, Service, Sales, and Delivery.
  • Providing guidance to all content creators to ensure standardization and high quality for all training content.
  • Manage a small team (23) to support training coordination and training material creation.
  • Participate in the content review process (QA) when required.
  • Continuously use and or propose tools to help build and deliver the training more efficiently (eLearning, recording tools, etc.)
  • Develop a strategy to leverage all internal training content for external purposes (customer trainings, partner trainings)
  • Collaborate with project managers to revisit training curriculums that can be leveraged in the project implementations.
  • Maintain and improve the training portal which includes key information regarding the training content development (standards, training champions,)

Requirements & Preferred Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree with at least five (5) years of experience in development of training curriculum.
  • Led the development of full enterprise training curriculum
  • Experience with system integration methodology.
  • Demonstrable experience in a team leadership/team management role through a handson, enthusiastic and motivational leadership style
  • Business knowledge of Distribution and Warehousing operations is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in reporting, public presentation and consultation, and the ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written)
