Pacific Customs Brokers is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Accounting Team and work directly with the CFO.Primary duties include preparing month-end financial statements, working with external auditors, treasury management, as well as supervising the Accounts Payable team.
This position has opportunities for growth over time for the right individual.We are a group of diverse companies operating in both Canada and the United States. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, working from our office in Surrey BC. Hours of work are 7:30 am to 4 pm.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 5+ year of hands-on related accounting experience; 3-5 years of supervisory experience; experience with freight payables is a must; experience in a medium sized multi-company environment, and experience with foreign exchange transactions.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Preparing yearend working papers
- Supervise AP team
- Processing electronic payments, bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of GL accounts
- Review of monthly inventory valuation
- Preparing GST, B&O, and PST filings

Salary:
$85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
