Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to finish and repair concrete surfaces to specified textures.

This includes knowledge of how to use concrete tools, such as, electric equipment tools, a bull float, various trowels, smart levels, and edger.

It includes working at different concrete crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills, patching and finishing vertical concrete.

Responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:

Communicate with co-workers and coordinate the plan for the day with your supervisor.
Be able to follow instructions or repairs steps according to engineering or QC processes.
Selects materials to match the task.
Prepare and finish pieces to match color and texture of the precast concrete product.
Removes rough defective spots from concrete surfaces and patches holes with fresh materials.
Molds expansion joints and edges.
Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces.
Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use
Performs other related duties as may be assigned or requested

Job Requirements:

A minimum of three years of experience in the construction industry is required. Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures is required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The incumbent also;
Must be able to work in constant changes in weather and site conditions which may impede the work hours
Must be able to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach and other similar activities as needed.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
