Hours of Work:
Weekdays and

Occasional Weekends:
Days, Evenings, 8 hrs, as per schedule


Summary of Duties

  • Reports to Business Supervisor Central Staffing Office;
  • Subject matter expert in central scheduling office processes;
  • Responsible for updating and delivering detailed training/orientation for new Scheduling staff
  • Responsible for management of ongoing educational needs within the CSO; develops and implements an ongoing competency assessment framework;
  • Responsible for developing and implementing new scheduling processes (as required); updates existing scheduling processes as changes occur/are required;
  • Monitors and identifies opportunities to enhance and streamline scheduling processes;
  • Works collaboratively with the Business Supervisor to design, develop and monitor key performance indicators for CSO office functions;
  • Tracks issues/incidents and identifies root causes, recommends action plans to the Business Supervisor CSO;
  • Supports and maintains the data integrity of the Kronos ESP scheduling and timekeeping system.
  • Serves as a resource to stakeholders of the CSO providing information, training and problem solving services.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a healthcare scheduling environment required.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of individuals in a positive manner
  • Experience working with or knowledge of collective agreements required.
  • Previous experience working with Kronos Workforce ESP required.
