Summary:

Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Receiving all orders for Gladstone House

Managing and organizing inventory

Updating inventory control system with current pricing and contacts

Coding invoices and ensuring timely and organized invoice processing


Specific Duties:
Operate fork lift with access from Gladstone Ave sidewalk hatch to receive all orders

Check all invoices and delivery slips to make sure all items have been delivered

Create and maintain organizational practices for all inventory

Update inventory control systems with current pricing and vendor contacts

Appropriately code all invoices and ensure they are sent to accounts payable

Work with all department heads to create and maintain appropriate inventory pars

Assist with the organization and pick up of empty bottles, and kegs

Ensure garbage and refuse bins are put out on the sidewalk for pick up on scheduled days of the week

Maintain contact with Re-think Resources to schedule appropriate waste pick ups

Match delivery slips with order details given by department heads

Alert department heads of any missing, or damaged goods

Any other tasks assigned by department heads within the scope of inventory control

Self-motivated

Passion for organization

Exceptional communication skills

Previous experience managing inventory control or shipping/receiving in a high-volume setting


Special Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

This position is physically demanding
