POSITION:
Customer Service Representative (On Site)**
Reporting to: Manager, Drug Reimbursement and Programs

  • We are a specialized pharmacy with a team that is passionate about providing personalized medicine, ensuring patients maximize the therapeutic benefits of the medications they are prescribed and minimize undesirable side effects. We offer a team based approach to operating our pharmacy and drug reimbursement program that has a culture of putting patients first._
  • We are looking to add a permanent fulltime, Customer Service Representative to our specialty drug reimbursement team. As a CSR you will play a vital role in improving drug access for our patients by coordinating between them, their medical professionals and insurance providers. Our CSRs are integral to the growth and development of our programs._
  • If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service, have a keen ability to manage competing priorities with diligence and can handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact, this could be the role for you We provide our patients with the best possible care in a customeroriented manner and we'd love for you to join us._
  • This is a M-F daytime role, Onsite in our offices located in midtown Toronto, near Don Mills and Eglinton._

What you'll bring to the team

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • A history of setting goals and delivering results.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to solve problems quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in health care is an asset but is not required

What you'll do:


  • Provide support and customer service to clinics and patients in a professional, friendly and reliable manner.
  • Process and complete insurance billing for medical claims
  • Coordinate program activities and liaise directly with clinics and insurance providers to enhance the delivery of program services.
  • Collect supportive information for special authorization requests through handling patient/physician calls and inquiries.
  • Manage multiple accounts and foster customer loyalty by providing outstanding service.
  • Review, analyze, and validate information provided by patients and medical offices for accuracy and completeness to provide service in an efficient manner.
  • Identify and assess patient and physician needs to achieve satisfaction with tact, patience and politeness
  • Establish systems to monitor your own performance to ensure timely completion of files
