Job summary
The Intermediate Quality Control Technician is responsible for the testing of road construction materials including hot mix asphalt and granular base course.This role determines whether road construction materials meet or exceed the standards and specifications prescribed by customers.
Responsibilities
- Collect and/or prepare aggregates and asphalt samples for analysis.
- Use a nuclear gauge or coring device to conduct density testing of road surfaces.
- Perform field and laboratory tests at various points throughout the road construction projects and report test data in a complete manner.
