    Speechwriter Position Overview

    Our organization seeks an experienced speechwriter to join its Executive Writers Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality, personalized speeches and video scripts for senior executives to deliver at various events.

    This role requires a deep understanding of the energy industry, excellent research skills, and the ability to adapt to different writing styles. As part of our team, you will have opportunities to work on world-scale projects and develop your sector-specific knowledge through our comprehensive workforce development programs.

    • Primary responsibilities include researching, drafting, editing high-impact speeches and video scripts for executive delivery; aligning each product with corporate messaging; identifying strategic speaking opportunities; building trusted relationships with stakeholders; immersing yourself in company heritage while adapting skills;


    The ideal candidate should possess:



    • A Bachelor's degree from a world-class academic institution (advanced degree preferred);

    • No less than 8 years overall experience in communications (at least 3 as a speechwriter) with current experience writing at highest levels - preferably within energy industry;

      • The following qualifications are highly desirable:
