  • Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of the Sensor Operator courses
  • Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
  • Reporting student progress, issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery
  • Ability to work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of tasks and requirements
  • Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations to customers
  • Ability to deliver synthetic environment training using simulators and other tools
  • Ability to contribute to development of teaching aids and courseware
  • Ability to perform elementary maintenance tasks working on ladders, small spaces, and maneuvering heavy equipment
  • Ability to travel and work shifts/overtime when needed
  • Mandatory qualifications include:

  • Previous experience as a RCAF airborne electronic senior operator, air combat systems operator, or other similar trades
  • Formal training in Instructional Techniques
  • Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards
  • Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
  • Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada level 1 security clearance
  • Physically able to perform manual labour tasks
  • Desirable qualifications include:

  • French language skills in order to be able to instruct in French
  • Previous Military experience as a traffic technician
  • Airbus aircraft experience
  • Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware
