Position Summary
As an _Imaging Scientist _you will provide technical knowledge of 2D and 3D imaging to provide contractual imaging services to customers and partners.
Essential Responsibilities, Authorities and Expectations
- Evaluate client inspection projects and determine the feasibility of their investigation requirements.
- Evaluate incoming parts and assemblies.
- Optimize the CT inspection based on customer imaging requirements.
- Use Volume Graphics software to analyze and visualize CT imaging data (geometric dimensioning and tolerance, porosity analysis, composite fiber analysis and other related requests).
- Generate data sets and reports.
- Present generated results to clients.
- Host onsite visits, video conferences and presentations.
- Ensure all documentation is in place for tracking and billing.
- Conform with the ISO 9001:2015 and Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
- Assist the marketing team with developing videos or other marketing material as required.
- Actively pursue new customers and work with existing accounts to develop new business
- Represent Nexus Metrology and TED Canada at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior experience with Nikon CT systems (or equivalent equipment) is preferred.
Prior experience with Volume Graphics (or equivalent software) is preferred.
Proficiency in business writing.
Ability to review written content for grammatical and spelling errors in both English and French.
Must be bi-lingual in English and French.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's and/or Master's in Physics, Material or Life Science; or equivalent work experience.
