    We currently have an exciting opportunity as a co-op student, working as a Business Analyst with the Information Technology Business Partner supporting Sales.

    This role is based in our Oakville office and collaborates with the IT Business Partner - Sales and Product.

    Job Summary

    Working with an IT Business Partner, the Student Intern will document business technology requirements and support application implementation projects.

    The student intern will have the opportunity to gain experience supporting various Business applications, methods, and support ongoing digital transformation efforts with Business.

    This is a one-year internship.

    Principal Responsibilities

    Support our Sales teams through technology systems (including EDI, CRM, PIM), change and project management activities as may be required

    Support stakeholder management specifically support tickets and issues resolution and business communications


    Support ITBPs to collect and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, and work with the development teams to transfer them into technology solutions.

    Research and stay ahead of the latest technology and process improvements with a view to evaluating suitability for IPEX.

    Help the business to identify improvement opportunities.

    Facilitate multi-functional activity and track that it is completed as scheduled.

    Communicate progress, risks, barriers, and status on transformation initiatives.

    Qualifications & Experience

    3rd or 4th year student in computer science, systems, technology, or similar programs, or equivalent experience.

    Technical aptitude, troubleshooting, problem analysis

    Familiar with fundamentals of cybersecurity as it relates to commercial systems.

    Knowledge of Commercial Sales methodologies and related processes is an asset

    Previous experience working in a formal office structure is a plus.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
