    Overview

    Myo-Health Rehab and Wellness Centre has exciting opportunities for Occupational Therapists to join our team of healthcare providers We are a private clinic that specializes in the treatment of clients injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents.

    Joining this multi-disciplinary rehabilitation clinic with two locations in the GTA (Scarborough and Etobicoke) offers the right individuals the opportunity to collaborate with a team in providing exceptional care to our clients in a culture that is client-focused, diverse, inclusive and encourages personal growth.

    We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team

    What your day to day would look like:

    • Responsible for the assessment of clients (including completing an in-home assessment report and completion of Form 1), and the establishment and ongoing treatment plans.
    • Provide ongoing occupational therapy intervention
    • Communicate information and recommendations regarding treatment plans to clients and stakeholders within the client's circle of care
    • Maintain current accurate clinical records according to standards set by College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
    • Collaborate with other members of the health team as needed to submit Auto Insurance Claim Forms (OCF forms).
    • Assess for assistive device needs and provide support and education to clients and families
    • Mix of in-clinic, in-home, and remote working environments.

    What you need to be successful:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) or equivalent.
    • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
    • Strong time-management skills required.
    • Excellent communication skills required with an ability to collaborate with other team members and a strong understanding of when and how to make interdisciplinary referrals.
    • New graduates accepted. - MVA experience preferred but not mandatory.
    • Access to reliable transportation required.
