    Are you a formally educated Industrial Designer with a deep love for aviation or transportation design? Do you boast exceptional conceptualization skills and proficiency in expressing your vision through 2D and 3D design tools? Are you a resourceful issue resolver with practical experience in prototyping? Can you seamlessly transition between refined sketching, form creation, mock-up construction, and testing? Are you a natural leader capable of instilling a distinct vision and motivating others to action?

    You're expected to be dynamic, self-driven, passionate, and a true team player. We're seeking someone who can bring positivity, enthusiasm, creativity, and resilience to our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Innovation and Industrial Design.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead a team of highly skilled and motivated industrial designers
    • Represent the industrial design team in showcasing concepts to senior management and other stakeholders
    • Oversee the industrial design aspect throughout the entire design and development process
    • Conduct thorough research to drive innovative and diverse concept generation, spanning from cabin layouts to intricate designs
    • Collaborate with other teams such as engineering, marketing, and interior design to merge technical requirements with form development
    • Supervise the team responsible for sketching, conceptualizing, and visualizing in 2D and 3D using tools like Rhinoceros, Alias, V-Ray, and Keyshot
    • Create mock-ups and prototypes in various scales using a range of materials and technologies
    • Assist the interior design team in material and finish development for the aircraft cabin
    • Explore innovative manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, cabin hardware, and accessories
    • Engage in testing and prototyping of these materials and processes
    Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:
    • Hold a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or possess equivalent experience
    • Have at least eight (8) years of design experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in a managerial position (Transportation Design background is a plus)
    • Exhibit a strong passion for aviation, especially in the realm of business aircraft and emerging technologies
    • Demonstrate proficiency in applications like Rhinoceros, Alias, ADOBE suite, V-Ray, Keyshot, AutoCAD, Catia V5, and 3dsMax
    • Showcase a portfolio reflecting a wide range of design skills including sketching, illustration, color and graphic design, CAD modeling, and rendering
    • Be driven by challenges and results, possessing solid technical skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and adept problem-solving abilities
    • Display flexibility and creativity in overcoming obstacles, maintaining a strong design vision during lengthy projects
    • Capable of effectively presenting intricate ideas to senior and refined audiences, managing technical, financial, and marketing initiatives
    • Possess strong corporate agility, soft skills, credibility, and persuasive abilities to influence decisions without formal authority
    • Have the knack for succinctly summarizing complex situations, highlighting key elements and takeaways
    • Demonstrate sharp business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to shift perspective between detailed and big-picture views
    • Exhibit excellent oral and written English communication skills, with functional French communication skills being mandatory
