    About the Role:

    The position of IT Incident Management Manager involves overseeing the IT security infrastructure, supervising incident response, and conducting security investigations. The individual acts as a technical leader and strategist while also being capable of hands-on involvement.

    The Incident Management Manager reports to the Director of Cyber Defense and supervises a technical team of experts and consultants spread across various locations and time zones.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide 24/7 security monitoring support for all IT operations and infrastructure
    • Collaborate with internal teams to interpret, understand, and communicate actual business risks in relation to technology risks
    • Implement new technologies by engaging in the evaluation of tools, software, and technology practices, and help establish controls to mitigate business risks
    • Manage the response to cybersecurity incidents and ensure the availability of a well-defined, documented, and tested action plan in case of a security incident
    • Maintain and update all security tools, technologies, and processes
    • Deliver timely and effective communications to key internal stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • General to advanced knowledge in various areas: computer networks, operational security platforms, information security principles, SOC, IAM, MFA, SIEM, ITSM, DLP, IPS, application development, technical writing, information risk, and international environments
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Information Security, (an asset)
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in team management
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in information technology
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in information security
    • Knowledge of information security standards, regulations, and legislation (NIST, COBIT5, ISO 27001), (an asset)
    • Recognized certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, or other), (an asset)
    • Analytical mindset, practical approach to IT security issues and challenges
    • Strong leadership skills to foster collaboration within the team
    • Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
    • Positive attitude, proactive nature with strong analytical and interpersonal skills for leading work groups, negotiation, and building agreement
    • Mentorship and coaching abilities to develop the team within the organization
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting aptitudes
    • Capability to articulate and present material effectively to convey complex concepts and obtain agreement
    • Proficiency in operating in a dynamic environment with multiple objectives
    • Highly motivated and self-driven, with keen attention to detail
    • Capacity to prioritize and carry out tasks in high-pressure environments
    • Ability to handle diplomatic and efficient interactions at all levels of the organization
    • Willingness to challenge the existing state of affairs
    • Customer-centric approach
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • For candidates in Quebec, bilingualism is required due to the need for regular interaction with English-speaking colleagues throughout the country
    • No Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required
