Description

We are looking to add experienced garden CREW LEADERS to our growing teams for a busy summer season

Duties include:


  • Care for gardens as directed: garden clean ups, plant care (deadheading, pest & disease control, division, support) weeding, fertilization, soil amendments, light pruning and bed edging
  • Prepare & topdress beds
  • Plant shrubs, perennials, and bulbs
  • Keep your tools clean and sharp
  • Strong plant identification
  • Coordinate and work with other crew members performing maintenance/planting according to schedule and standards
  • Ensure clients are pleased with our garden care
  • Produce timely, accurate progress reports and timesheets
  • Communicate with clients and management
  • Maintain your tools, vehicle tidiness, and vehicle supplies
  • Leading a crew of up to 4 members
  • Safely load and unload equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly secured upon departure from site(s)
  • Crew leaders MUST have experience driving a truck with a trailer
  • Horticulture education or experience would be an asset
  • Previous experience as a crew leader is required
This is a full-time seasonal position with the opportunity to do snow removal in the winter months. Wage to be determined based on experience.

$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

- crew leader: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • G Driver's License (preferred)
