    Overview

    This Co-op position assists with coordinating, planning and expediting the flow of materials, parts and assemblies between departments according to production and shipping schedules.

    Duration is 4, 8 or 12 months starting May 6, 2024

    Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry with ERP system (SAP), as well as excel.
  • Creates production orders based on material flow and department production schedules.
  • Enter information into master schedule to ensure proper scheduling of jobs and projects for fabrication and assembly.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure delivery dates are met and issues are resolved.
  • Issue releases and requisitions to order material.
  • Determines amount of material required to complete job orders.
  • Confirms material delivered to production departments to verify quality and specifications.
  • . Performs other duties as directed.

    Qualifications

    On Site working in an office with some tasks that require time spent in a manufacturing environment requiring personal protective equipment (. eye protection, foot protection, hearing protection)


    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams.

  • SAP Experience would be an asset

  • • Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • . Must be legally able to work in Canada
