    Your Opportunity:

    This Stores I position will work multiple shifts dependent upon which shift requires coverage. The possible shifts are: Replenishment shift work shifts 07:00 – 19:00 or 19:00 – 07:00, including weekends. Sunday to Thursday from 14:45 to 23:00 picking orders. Day shift Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 14:45and/or 0700 to 1515. Duties include, Receiving, picking, packing, shipping, put away, hot picks, with use of ORACLE and RF technology. Forklift is a must (motorized pallet jack, hydraulic lift is desirable). Entering orders into ORACLE WMS, while verifying the items received and distributed. Attention to detail and accuracy is extremely critical to support patient care.     Description:

    As a Stores I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the picking, packaging, shipping and receiving of orders for hospital supplies, equipment and/or food in accordance with AHS guidelines and standards. You will process incoming requisitions and distribute supplies, complete cart audits for quality assurance and communicates frequently with stakeholders to ensure appropriate and correct quantity of supplies are available. In addition, you will track and report on inventory to ensure over stocking does not occur.

    Required Qualifications:

    Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.

    Additional Required Qualifications:

    ORACLE warehousing and RF scanning technology. Warehouse equipment experience, forklift is a must (motorized pallet jack, hydraulic lift is desirable). The ability to follow oral and written instructions and make complex mathematical calculations are necessary. Ability to work under tight lines with attention to detail and accuracy is required to ensure accurate levels for inventory. The capability to work within established routines is essential. The successful candidate must be able to complete physical tasks, including considerable amounts of standing and walking, bending, stooping, reaching for and carrying material, heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling under tight timelines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Radiology Fluoroscopy scanning technology & ORACLE warehouse management system is an asset.
